What's Include in scuba diving
A variety of equipment and services are normally provided during a scuba diving excursion in the
Andaman Islands to guarantee a secure and fun underwater journey. In the Andaman Islands, the
following is typically included in a scuba diving package:
1. Dive Equipment
The usage of necessary dive gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, buoyancy control device
(BCD), regulator, tanks, weights, and a dive computer, is typically included in scuba diving packages.
For an additional cost, certain dive operators might also offer underwater cameras.
2.Transportation
Transportation from and to your lodging to the dive shop or the dive location is frequently included in packages. This can entail taking a boat or driving a short distance, depending on where you choose to dive.
3.Dive Guides
You will typically be accompanied by certified dive instructors or dive masters who are familiar with the local dive sites. They provide guidance, supervision, and assistance during the dive, ensuring your safety and helping you explore the underwater world.
4.Dive Briefings
You will receive a diving briefing prior to each dive, which will cover important details regarding the dive site, safety precautions, underwater navigation, and marine animals to keep an eye out for.
5.Multiple Dives
Package deals for scuba diving may involve several dives at various depths or in various places. Depending on the package you select, the number of dives included may change.
Additional Information
1.Certification Requirements
In the Andaman Islands, the majority of dive operators demand that customers hold a current scuba diving certification. If you are not already certified, you can typically enroll in an Open Water Diver course or take the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program to become so.
2.Health and Fitness
Make sure you are in reasonable health and physical condition for diving. It is necessary to answer the dive shop's medical questionnaire. If you indicated "yes" to any of the medical questions, you might require a doctor's note certifying that you are healthy enough to dive.
3.Safety Briefings
During the pre-dive briefings, pay close attention. During these lessons, crucial safety measures, hand signals, emergency procedures, and the unique diving schedule for each location are covered.
4Air Cosnumption
During dives, pay special attention to how much air you are using. As a safety precaution, ascend while still having enough air in your tank. Avoid overworking yourself because this can cause more air to be consumed.
5.Marine Life Etiquette
Be mindful of the marine animals and the underwater environment. Do not handle coral or marine life or collect or harm them. To avoid coming into contact with coral or the seafloor, maintain correct buoyancy.
